I chose the article named "A Fifth of Americans Go Hungry." This article stood out to me particularly because many people, especially in our area, do not know how lucky we are to have the resources we have. Many, I believe, are sheltered to the facts that there are so many people in this country suffering to make a living and afford proper food. Many Americans are given assistance from the government such as food stamps. This article states that the senate wants to cut household nutritional assistance which could harm even more Americans and especially, children.
